Weighted-Impact Scoring

Support for for this feature depends on your subscription plan.

Weighted Impact is one of the scoring models available in Productfolio, that can be used to inform roadmap Feature scoring. It is the most strategically integrated model and our recommended model to use, when it fits your needs.

When To Use

Weighted Impact allows for scoring of your Feature against multiple goals/objectives that teams are often accountable for. You can assign weights to each of the goals as well, so that a 5 on one goal is more or less meaningful than a 5 on another. Reach more about Weight Impact Scoring.

Weighted Impact also provides a ‘curved grading’ option that accounts for scoring bias, to ensure an appropriate distribution of scores across the spectrum. Read more about curved grading.

This is our recommended method of scoring when possible, because it integrates directly within your product strategy to ensure optimal alignment and makes it very easy to see why Feature are prioritized they way they are.
